TUC documented the Charkop site and services scheme and scored it using ITDP’s TOD standard. This was presented to government officials and civil society organizations in Tanzania and Ethiopia to demonstrate planning and design strategies for inclusive transit-oriented development schemes.

Making a case for inclusive TOD approach in Africa

Gender mainstreaming in MMI and TOD in Bangalore

We are advising BMRCL and DULT on incorporating a gender perspective in multi-modal integration and transit-oriented development plans for Phase 2A and 2B corridors.

Governance of land-use & transport integration in Asia

This research was part of the High Volume Transport Applied Research Programme and involved understanding the governance of metropolitan regions to facilitate land-use and transport integration. The themes addressed multi-scalar, lateral and geographic coordination, technical expertise, gender and social inclusion.
